SDK OVERVIEW

Our Software Developer's Kits (SDK) allow independent developers to use a SDK to give their application the ability to read proximity access badge identification information directly off the card. Complete support for all the top proximity vendors including HID, Motorola, Indala, Casi-Rusco, AWID, Texas Instruments, Pyramid, and more. All bits from the token are returned to the application. Use the SDK with RF IDeas Wiegand to USB/RS232 converters to allow you to connect virtually any Wiegand output device.
The SDK is full-featured and easy to integrate. Complete with desktop proximity reader (specify HID, Motorola, Casi-Rusco, or RF IDeas) or AIR ID Enroll contactless readers, software examples in C++ and Visual Basic. All platforms are supported.

SDK SOFTWARE FEATURES

RS-232 & USB Support in one SDK - RF IDeas offers SDKs for our proximity readers operating on the USB or RS-232c port. The SDKs supports both ports through a unified easy-to-use DLL interface. The USB proximity reader requires an operating system complete with drivers that support USB devices.
Source Code - SDK includes examples in C++ and Visual Basic. Included is source for the SoftKBWedge application.
Platform Independent - RF IDeas offers a platform-independent RS232 (serial port) SDK for those who cannot use special DLLs or drivers. Please call RF IDeas for more details.
Support for 150 Million Prox Cards - SDK supports all proximity readers from RF IDeas allowing OEMs to choose cards/readers based on application requirements:
AIR ID LT (Read-Only, Long Range Badges)
pcProx (Short Range Badges/Key Fobs). Please further specify manufacturer (HID, Motorola, Casi-Rusco, AWID)
AIR ID Enroll Contactless smart card read-only readers.
