RF IDeas Launches pcProx® 125 kHz & AIR ID® 13.56 MHz Card Analyzers

Helps Integrators Identify their Customer’s Existing Card Technologies

Chicago, IL. March 22, 2010 - RF IDeas, Inc. today announced a line of intelligent, portable, patent pending Card Analyzers for virtually all proximity and contactless smart cards. RF IDeas will demonstrate the pcProx 125 kHz Card Analyzer as well as the AIR ID 13.56 MHz Card Analyzer at the ISC West show, March 24-26 2010 in Las Vegas, NV at the RF IDeas booth number 8044.

“We took the small size and portability of our USB Dongle reader and created a unique tool to help our entire customer ecosystem quickly identify card types and technologies,” said RF IDeas' CEO Richard Landuyt. “Our readers support almost every card technology, which equates to more than 30 different card types and more than a billion cards in the field. For those on location with a customer, this is an invaluable tool since identifying the card by sight can be impossible,” said Landuyt.

The Card Analyzers are compatible with nearly all computer operating systems and simply send the results as keystrokes to a text editor such as Microsoft’s Notepad.EXE. Additionally, they will work with the soon to be released PC-driven software application, providing deeper analysis into card type and formats. The Card Analyzers will be color coded in translucent red and blue housings to distinguish them from each other as well as from RF IDeas standard card readers. The Analyzers will be sold as a paired kit with full instructions and free technical support.
