For non-access control applications, the AIR ID reader can read or write to any application area on the iCLASS or Mifare credential, with all reader functions controlled by an external host processor via the USB or RS-232 serial port using RF IDeas software.

AIR ID Playback Solution

The AIR ID Starter Kit is a no-software solution, ready-to-use out of the box. Employee information such as logon credentials, together with keystrokes (USB model) are securely written into iCLASS or MIFARE cards using the AIR ID Card Manager software and AIR ID Writer. The keystrokes are used to land the cursor to the field where the employee data is needed.

The AIR ID Playback reader is a plug-n-play reader that delivers the keystrokes and credentials. The Playback reader may be deployed without any software. It is configurable on-the-fly allowing use of the entire iCLASS or MIFARE card. The AIR ID Playback offers security features such as RF data encryption and mutual authentication using 64 bit keys. Choose USB or RS-232.

When used with iCLASS or MIFARE cards, the AIR ID offers security features such as RF data encryption and mutual authentication using 64 bit keys for each application area, and optional DES or Triple DES data encryption for the application areas. RF IDeas provides key management for access control and other data, stored in the application area. An SDK is available.

AIR ID Enroll Read-Only Models

Several companies need to do look-ups, tag items to employe ID numbers, or make sure the ID number they read from their smart card card for a given employee is the same value as stored in their building access control system.

The AIR ID Enroll version installs as a keyboard, keystroking the ID to the cursor’s location. The RS-232 version outputs at 9600, N, 8, 1 no handshaking. Configuring the reader to meet your needs requires no programming knowledge. See Configuration Screen below!

AIR ID Writer: Compatibility: DLL requirements are suitable for Windows 98, NT (RS-232 only), 2000, XP; USB Windows 98, 2000, XP.

AIR ID Playback: All operatings systems supporting USB keyboards incl: Windows, Unix, Linux, Macintosh.

AIR ID Enroll: Windows 98, NT (RS-232 only), 2000, XP, Macintosh, Windows CE.

AIR ID Card Manager - For use with the no-software plug-n-play AIR ID Playback Readers

Write key strokes and credentials securely to contactless smart card using the AIR ID Card Manager. The  contactless smart card is then presented to the AIR ID Playback USB reader for playback. Supports one- and two- factor authentication Windows, Macintosh, thin-clients, PDAs and more.
