rf IDEAS owns and operates the WAVE ID® Mobile Demo application for
Android and iOS phones. All references to "we", "us" shall be construed to mean rf IDEAS. We understand that users of the app are concerned about the privacy of information. The following describes our privacy policy regarding information, including Personal-Covered Information (defined below), that we collect through this website. By using the application, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
HOW WE MODIFY THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, and without prior notice, by posting an amended Privacy Policy on www.rfideas.com. You should check the Privacy Policy on the website periodically for modifications. This privacy policy governs your use of WAVE ID® Mobile Demo ("Application") for mobile devices that was created by rf IDEAS, Inc. The app generates an ID number unique to the user’s phone and transmits it via Bluetooth® to a WAVE ID Mobile badge reader, allowing the user to utilize their mobile phone as an authentication credential.
User Provided Information
Because there is no registration process and no subscription involved when downloading and installing the Application, no user-provided information is collected.
Automatically Collected Information
The Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device being used, mobile device’s unique device ID, the IP address of the mobile device, the mobile operating system and the type of mobile Internet browsers being used.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device? This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Do third parties or rf IDEAS see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
Since the Application doesn’t communicate with any servers or external services, the Automatically Collected information remains local to the user’s device. Thus, neither rf IDEAS nor third parties will have any access to the information.
What are my opt-out rights?
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device.
